Hypocrisy. Just another one of the reasons why this board is so reviled.

Your mods often bleat on about how saintly this place is run. That personal insults are not tolerated etc, etc. Then a thread like this pops up and it is full of posts where spurs fans are allowed to insult posters from outside.

Totsfan, what is said to you in a pm or rep post is not public unless you make it so. It certainly doesn't justify you spitting your dummy out.

You need new mods :)

It has nothing to do with you, this board is better run than your one, were the post is removed for no reason except a mod doesn't agree with it.And if you don't like it.don't visit the Spurs board

That's not true actually, but congruent with your misconceptions all the same. Although ironically, I have experienced it first hand on this board.

Anyway, getting back to the question that seemed to spark this hissy fit, it was a valid one. What has money in the FA got to do with the lack of reprisal taken against Millwall and West Ham for racist chanting ? I can see why Spurs fans would be upset about it, especially given that the FA took the right action when charging Spurs fans for racist and homophobic chanting against Sol Campbell.

Oh, bollocks! The only people who are insulted on this board are those that come here looking to Wum, or post insults themselves. Those who come to debate honestly are treated with respect, generally. That's a lot more than you can say for certain "other boards" where any comment that disagrees with, often biased, opinion is greeted with a torrent of infantile abuse.

Piskie,

Not looking for keyboard wars on this one, genuine reply and question for you.

With the individual you mentioned, there were plenty of homophobic chants directed at him.
Not saying I agreed with it but they were sung.
However, there was not any racist songs or chants.
The line in that song was to do with his depression and nothing to do with racism.
I was at the Pompey game where spurs fans were charged by the police. They went to court and were found not guilty of racist abuse (some went guilty and were cautioned by police ).

How did arsenal fans get away with the racist abuse they gave adebayor at city that day?

Just been reading through what became of my wonderful thread and I can't see what you're on about, to be honest.

NSIS. Don't get me wrong. I am all for a bit of slander & defamation. I'm only pointing out the hypocrisy shown by your mods who all too often preach about their lack of tolerance for personal insults on their board, yet don the blinkers (see yidvacuous' last post) when it suits them.

Tinytot. Be quiet while the grown-ups are talking, there's a good lad :)

From personal experience, it is possible that a slightly more lenient line may occasionally be taken when responding to provocation or deliberate wumming. But, and I can speak from personal experience, once the rhetoric gets into unpleasant personal insults the posts are deleted.

Again, this board is far better run than most. However, we're not angels. If you come here looking for trouble, you'll find it.

Not sure fella, I guess all you can say is that there are inconsistencies in the FA when it comes to racism etc. The John Terry / Louis Suarez relative bans were a stark example of a seemingly arbitrary approach to reprisal . . .based on player popularity maybe ?

Sometimes you make a good point but hide it behind a pointless "tottenham fans are ****s" dig... You mention spurs and Campbell re racism yet ignore gooners disgraceful chants at ashley Cole and adebayor...the truth is ALL clubs have a number of racist and abusive ****ers among their fans...the fa in this instance like uefa before it has done **** all to crush this filth out of our game...west hams **** head of a manager said he was not concerned about the chanting only the match when first asked...that alone deserves a serious response ... What occurred was a disgrace and EVERYONE who hates racism should be outraged that fans do this type of thing in this day and age...and the fa have done...well fa to show a way forward in this instance...again

I wasn't singling out Spurs fans fella <ok> and I agree that the FA are totally inconsistent when it comes to dealing with the reprisals for racist perpetrators, both amongst fans and players alike.

The BBC too.

So much for the tough stance on racism. These twats at the FA have actually had pops at UEFA's handling of racism before, accusing them of not taking serious enough action. Well guess what, even UEFA are competent enough to take action against racist chanting, clearly picked up on the TV audio, even if it is just a crap fine.

Congratulations FArce, you make UEFA look effective <applause>

As for the Beeb "Some of West Ham's fans are alleged to have mocked Tottenham supporters, who traditionally have strong ties with London's Jewish community, during the game at White Hart Lane.". Alleged?! ****ing Hell, what more proof fo you need, the chants were easy to hear.

Pricks the lot of them.

I've said for years that UEFA are far more competent than the FA and far less corrupt. Not that it matters much.

Shocking really.

Yet you still visit here!, your penchant for something you revile is slightly concerning, no?

The first missionaries to enter darkest Africa were also appalled by the savages they encountered. Fortunately, they persevered (as do I) and eventually bought light and civilisation to the land :)

That's one ****ed up version of history and the slave trade <laugh>
