Must have been the death threats she received for editing Downfall that set her against the Underclass
I've noticed a lot of chatter about WATP on twitter over the last few days. Tims mock-offended, bears pretending it's not a loyalist slogan etc etc All quite dull really

People messaging to say they'd like to shoot in her mouth does not constitute a death threat. It is merely a statement with romantic overtones. The shot would be delivered by a porridge gun and is usually non fatal
This The folk protesting the most about it (saying it's OK, saying it's not OK) are the most strenuous when the boot's on the other foot (if that makes sense). There's bloggers/tweeters for both sides that go out of their way to moan about "freedom of speech" when the other side challenges them only for them to then get their knickers in a twist when the other side do similar. There's a guy called John Gow, a Rangers blogger on ESPN who I ragdolled on Twitter once - basically, every time he's on my TL he uses words he doesn't understand - he's a semantic car crash of a man. When I pointed out that he was using a literal term to describe an art movement (to appear clever and paint Celtic fans as daft), I called him out, he then used another word completely out of context. He then tried to defend this as deliberate nonsense (despite following it up with other Rangers fans). I told him he was wrong. He then tweeted to his followers that I (no swearies, no grief, just telling someone they were wrong) had given him "vile abuse" In fact, he describes everyone disagreeing with him as giving out "vile abuse" accuses people of stereotyping then goes on to stereotype folk constantly. I don't even follow him, the balloon just ends up on my TL all the time. ****s like him (and Haggerty) are exactly what's wrong with football fans - keen to see the evil in those opposing them but bending over backwards to justify the same thing from their own fans. **** them all and **** the Queen
I've seen tweets from that guy John Gow. He's one of the "intellectuals" (sic) at the Rangers Standard isn't he? As far as I can tell, he passes his time harassing journos, normally Spiers, by asking them the same question 250 million times as if it makes some sort of point (beyond the fact that he's an obsessive weirdo). Either that or pontificating on the sectarianism espoused by those who dare use the vile "h word". All a tad tiresome.
