Yes, unfortunately our chairman is a tad more financially prudent than yours! We would have had CL football this year if at least one of the strikers we desperately need had been bought.
The money is there Levy certainly doesn't help matters but at the same time you have to also question the players intrest in going to Spurs we saw last summer with Moutinho the club were willing to sell the player however wasnt very keen on the move however.
Jose Mourinho's career in a nutshell: Spain - Don't come back Italy - Don't come back England - Welcome back!
Not true, he was expecting to get £100k a week when he left Porto and we weren't prepared to do that but afterwards we came to an agreement and it was sorting out a deal with his 3rd party investors that meant we couldn't get the deal done on time. There are plenty of players that would happily come to us but when the money clubs come in we get outpriced. We couldn't afford to take a £25mill punt on a player like Oscar, for example. Lloris is a good example of what happens when Levy bids for a player and a money club doesn't come in, initially we had our bid rejected and they wanted more so we left it and they came back to us a month later saying they'd accept our original offer now.
Good to see you're taking Jose coming back well! Over the moon that he is back and we will be a force next season... Buzzing!
For two years I've seen you attempt to be funny in every single post you make, not one of them a success.
No, senseless is the sight of you throwing your toys out of the pram as you pretend that everywhere else he's been employed has seen players, fans and the media glad to see the back of him. Anyway, rather than throwing a rather low grade tantrum, shouldn't you be stocking up on Kleenex in preparation for his next press conference?
where did I pretend that then? and secondly, why would I give a **** that other fans/players/tea ladies are glad to see the back of him? It wasn't the context of your post, it was just your yet again tedious attempt at humour that made me comment. You've actually made another attempt, cannot help yourself.
Why should you care? Judging by the fact you keep responding, with some shockingly poor attempts at character assassination - that underline what I said about you throwing your toys out of the pram - you quite clearly care. Shame you think that any of us do, you big baby.
you're talking out of your arse mate, completely missing my point. Read the second part of my last post again because it definitely isn't the Jose dig that made me comment.
And what point would that be? Oh, right, the point where low-flying, toy-shaped projectiles were seen launching from your vicinity at the same time as you sent a reply? Still, keeps your record of failing to post a single worthwhile comment on here for two years intact.
and still you continue . I've clearly got to you. Was just advice son, stop trying to be funny, because you ain't.
So........ Looks like Martinez is almost certainly off to Liverpool's better half http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22761798
I think you'll find I've got you. Want proof? You're the one that keeps coming back. Still, I have informed David Attenborough of a quite remarkable zoological find - a Chelsea fan that is passive aggressive.
the amount of **** you come out with is truly outstanding. I opened the debate, of course I'm going to come back.
In the past couple of years or so Chelsea have had some last shouts. What I mean by that is for example winning the CL,where would they have been had they not? They were in 6th place and heading for the EL. The CL was their last chance to keep going for something worthwhile. Now here we go again with JM back and I think with the amount of managers they've had in recent years here again is their last shout. If he doesn't last and I think he won't who then follows him? It's nearly always a mistake to buy back as Liverpool found out with KD. Good luck Chelsea,I think you might need it.....................again.
