    Honestly, I think the writing is on the wall for Joey, BUT with all the noises coming from Newcastle suggesting we'll go for broke in one the cups next season, perhaps/hopefully there'll be room for both of them?

    It's nice to read stuff like that, especially when fans from the players old team speak positively about a player and they don't instantly become a **** footballer overnight just because they chose another team to play for (a la Gosling). Looking forward to seeing him play for us.

    This is what i like about our new 'plan'. Sure i'm sad because Barton was has become my favourite player but if we replace quality with even more quality then it works out well

    I'm worried. He hasn't signed anything, he has agreed in principal but he has at least another two weeks to decide really, if anyone else comes in...

    Just wish we could finalise it, you know what NUFC are like.

    sounds a pretty positive signing , seems well liked in lille by their response from players/fans.
    seems a strange signing with our MF being pretty strong anyway but it will create alot of competition for places which cant be a bad thing.unless joey is on his way ;(
    looking pretty positive transfer window so far , doing our business early in window
    mehdi abeid signed
    cabaye looking imminent
    couple of striking options ,a real quality CB and or RB , and ill be over the moon
