If this is true, any respect i had for him has went down massively

Would take this as a personal insult if i was Mignolet

    Otherwise very lazy journalism

Man U payed 18m for De Gea whos only about a year or 2 younger than Ming. That puts things into perspective!

Dont be so hasty to pour scorn on Liverpool and Rogers, It is merely a typing error, the decimal point was supposed to come after the 5. Now that is nearer his true value,

Unless of course the deal he was thinking about also included Johnson, Downing and Henderson + the 6.5 mill coming to SAFC

Mignolet could still leave this summer and for 3 times that amount if he did btw but right now, he would be better off with us.

However, if he did leave it would certainly only be to a champions league team and a EPL challenger, not to the likes of run of the mill Liverpool.

They will be mid table at best without buck tooth after he leaves this summer.

If horsey were to leave and they get £40m, who could they bring in to do a similar job? Odd few who you could take a chance on but

'To be honest suarez needs to go from liverpool fair enough he is our best striker but he gives liverpool a bad reputation and we could buy better than him'

Taken from a Liverpool fans tweet on Sky Sports Live transfer clockwatch

£40 million, Liverpools current europa league/top 10 status...pray tell who can be bought which Man City/Anzhi/Monaco/PSG couldnt take before

    Don't see the problem.

They offer 6.5mill, then politely told to **** off, coe in with a higher bid, told once more to go rake in their bins, bidding war begins with other clubs, end result a friggin lot of money.

Probably just lazy journalism, but that price is just a joke for a player of his talent..

Going to Liverpool wouldnt be a big enough step for Mig, he deserves Arsenal and Champions League, no disrespect to Liverpool but if they sell Suarez then they are simply in the mix with all of us outside the top 6.

No,I don't think so.I think they are in the mix with the clubs that won't get relegated but won't make the top six either in the 7-10th range.Won't make the Scousers happy though.

Kieran westwood is playing for the Republic tonight so I will watch that match, to see what form he is in and if Mig goes he will be my first choice keeper.
