So long as Williams don't just become a Mercedes B-team... that would be a tragic end for a once proud team.
Should same them a few quid as well, the Merc engines are something like half the price of the Renault ones. Hopefully they can put that saving into car development

Man, that would leave only two Ferrari-powered teams (if Marussia acts as we expect them to) on the grid. Not sure if the Ferrari engines are cheaper than Merc, but I'm pretty sure they're not as expensive as Renault. Wonder what Honda's engine costs are? I'd expect them to be pretty low as they're only just returning.
Maybe it's because i grew up with it being Williams Renault/BMW but 'Williams Mercedes' just does not sound right to me.
I think the retro Williams Renault didn't quite work out to plan so a fresh Williams Mercedes might be the cure though I still wonder how they are going to pull them selves up
