Maybe i'm wrong here, but it seems like the mags may be in turmoil.

Barton, one of their best players seems ready to commit himself to the club, but all is not well as fat mike, seem's that he doesn't want to pay. I can sense a revolt coming in NE1, but this time with justification.

What are the nuggests who run that club thinking.

Joey Barton has claimed he wants to stay at Newcastle but has not been offered a new contract by the club, who he believes want a 'younger, better, cheaper player.'
The 28-year-old midfielder has one year remaining on his contract at St James's Park, but has been linked with a move away this summer after his agent, Willie McKay, revealed this week that his client would not be offered a new deal.

Speaking on the twitter account he launched earlier this week, Barton said he would remain committed to Newcastle for as long as the club want him.
'Finished playing golf, 72 not bad. Came in to questions about joining Everton??? I don't want to leave Newcastle but thanks anyways........' Barton wrote.
'I cant sign a contract if am not offered one?'
He then continued on the topic, appearing to mock the club's transfer policy before stopping himself.
'I will tell all when the time is right, basically they want a younger, better, cheaper player............cant blame (owner Mike Ashley) and (managing director Derek Llambias) can you?' he said.
'.......slight problem is, they dont want to spend any money or pay any wages. Its genius really ha ha.
'I am an employee so have to be careful here. Everyone knows i'd love to stay, i get on with (manager Alan Pardew) fine and are dressing room is 1st class.
'if am not offered a new contract, my hands are tied. I will continue to do everything in my power to bring a trophy to St James next season.

Would you have faith in Fat Mike given his dealings the season just gone?

I posed this question on the nufc board, but it got trashed by '5-1 numpty'

Sounds like mr cashley wants to proceed with inexperienced youths or cheap imports.

Lose Nolan, Barton, Enrique etc makes you wonder if guitterez (spelling ify) would wantaway as well as a few others. Bad news for genuine newcastle fans.

    Long may it continue.

typical, can't say owt about their club without being jumped on, even when you defend their own players.

I must confess, I feel sorry for the Newcastle fans, every time things are going well Ashley seems to stir it. All gossip I know but seems very strange to me.

Now im worried about you sorry for Newcastle fans would they feel sorry for us would they ****e.
Let them suffer for years to come and that last game 3-0 up i was in Donny airport with a few of them and they could'nt shut up
"Top dogs again and just promoted"
" We can get Europe next year"
    " Sunderland are ****e"
Well at 3-3 a wry smile was enough and maybe i should not have shouted get in when the final results and league table was shown

Players out if the rumours are true no smoke without fire and all that.
Barton probably gone a total twat but a good player.
Nolan on his way another decent player.
Enrique it's only a matter of time.
Three of their best players out the door and Ashley will still not give them the Carroll money, if they get 10mil I'll be surprised.
