Indeed, it's a risible defence but to be fair, not a wholly surprising one.

Instead of dancing around the issue why not explain which part of MTS' post was innacurate?

Walter, who backed Whyte and Green? Is that wrong?

"we wish the new Rangers Football Club every good fortune"
    Is he being misquoted?

I'm not sticking up for him, i'm interested in your response and i'm engaging you in a debate.

I assume that the part I have left out is what you consider to be wrong?

"despite knowing he was involved with Whyte, is now shoving the knife into Murrays back

Surely this isn't in the best interests of the 140 year old Rangers..."

    Is that innacurate...in your opinion?

    Here's the original post.

The only bit that's bullshit is the age assessment - but that's deliberate facetiousness.

As posted on the pointless pointscoring bicker thread on the champs board, Walter believed that Rangers were debt-free when Whyte took over (for a penny), he then goes on to say that Craig Whyte further reduced the debt (that didnae exist) by £18m <laugh>

I could not have handpicked a better guy for the job - he could suggest building a casino on Mars for tuppence and he'll be blindly followed.

    Can you blame them.

The amount of pain he has inflicted over the years on their club.

Personally I am delighted. Wattie put the blockers on Green & Co`s attempts to cut costs while you continue to run at a loss, he will ensure fat sal remains as *ahem* manager and will make sure the murray park conveyer belt of talent keeps on churning them out as as before.
