Another silly friendly, but at least its not clogging the PL season, little interest no doubt with the only Spurs player likely to get a runout being Defoe, Walker having withdrawn through injury.

They Played For Both...good luck with that everyone! :D

England's Record against Ireland
P13 W5-D6-L2 F19-A12 Record: 61.54%
One match abandoned

The last game between the 2 countries was marred by crowd trouble, lets hope there's no repeat.

I wish they'd just scrap all internationals except the world cup / WC Qualifying.

Euros are pointless & friendlies are a complete waste of time for the clubs.

Honestly cant remember the last international game I watched that I gave two ****s about since the last WC.

It might sound bad, but I have absolutely no interest in watching England, especially when it's a friendly.

So, instead, I'm off to the cinema.

Much more interesting topic.... To see?

I can't believe I'm about to say this... but Star Trek. <laugh>

I haven't ever seen an episode of the show in my life, but I watched the first film the other night and thought it was pretty decent, so I'm off to see the second. - I've heard nothing but good things about it. (hence why I watched the first one the other day)

I can't believe this.... I'm officially a Trekky. <doh>

Anyhoo, back to England v whoever it is we're playing.

I always watch to see how Walcott does but its been a long time since I've got excited about an England game

I think the recent press articles about the previous riots surely has garnered interest in this match... However, being half-Irish, I may indeed watch this just to check everyone's behaving!

Don't fret if you're a Trekkie Roo

Its the Trekkers that are the worrying ones!!

Jeez... why didn't I just say I was going to see something "cool" like Iron Man 3?!

I'm never gonna hear the end of this!

sorry for destroying your thread, Notso! (it says a lot though doesn't it? - the fact that more responses have been about Star Trek than the England game! <laugh>)

I look forward to another game of Hodgson shoe-horning his favourites into a team that doesn't work but is fairly organised. I think we'll win 3-0, Cahill, Lampard, Sturridge.

On the contrary Roo!, your brilliant interjection has dragged this thread into double figure posts!...that achievement was a mere dream before that! :)

How on earth does Oxlade-Chamberpot get a start? He's had an awful season.

Defoe on for Sturridge, another who doesn't deserve to be in the squad...

Yeah, there was one on Connor Cummins the other day. Crazy course in this changeable weather.
Won't be boring, unlike the F1 Monaco GP - what a waste of time!

Oh,.... and England drawing 1-1 <laugh>

EDIT: OOPS, wrong quote <laugh> Was referring to #16!
