I would expect him to go to Everton but if we are going for a continental approach i would expect us to get that type of manager.

I said this previously. I am suprised that Martinez hasn't considered us as an option - we have no debt and an owner who could throw 100 millions at it if he wanted. Everton are some 70 million in debt and will lose at least Baines and Fellani in the transfer window and the new manager at best will get only 20 million to rebuild what is a very small and ageing squad. I understand that Everton is percieved as a bigger club but I think the cold facts suggest otherwise. Their owner is actively looking for a buyer aswell which means alot of uncertainity.
