What was the protest about? Genuinely worried about the owners/plans or just moaning about the change if kit?
Couldn't find anything about the protest yesterday...but googling Cardiff fans protest threw up a lot of hits over the last few years....protests about money, kit change and travel arrangements. Seems to be a Cardiff thing. Surely they must be happy at the moment....they are in the PL.
Take some comfort from the fact that we won't have to listen to old twitchy or to Pulis on next seasons MotD and if some one were to stick a cork in Fat Sam's mouth the world would be near perfect
You never get away from Harry...he will be interviewed ad nauseum about every and any subject. And I wouldn't put it past him to turn up to 'save' yet another PL club.
Palace? One of the few London clubs who haven't had the pleasure of his company. If it doesn't look like holloway can keep them up, you never know...
On the subject of managers Stoke fans must be thrilled to see that they are going to get a new brand of attaccking football with the appointment of Mark Hughes!
Holloway said on Sky that West Ham proved that promoted sides could stay up....what are we, chopped liver?
Mainly the rebrand, though I'm sure individual fans have their own concerns about the owners: http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/local-news/cardiff-city-fans-protest-club-4018654
Thanks PTF. Be interested to hear more about what they think if Mr Tan's commitment to the future of the club. On that article there are some photos. Scroll to picture 4 and look at the council worker on the right: he's either doing the "Sam Hamam" or someone's just knocked one of his bins over and he's not a happy chap!
Haha, yeah, looks like he's doing the "Ayatollah". Not sure your description of it as the "Sam Hammam" would go down too well with these fans either More on that if you're interested, it is a pretty bizarre (and oddly prevalent) custom: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ayatollah_(football_celebration) And a BBC video on its origins: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/7405620.stm
They are back in the PL for heaven's sake. When we gained promotion, Cortese could do what he liked to our kit (and he did). However, now I think about it, we may have murmured a bit if he changed our kit to blue
Well I stand corrected .. they even mention that it is often mistakenly credited to Sam Hamman. Thanks for the link. I have learned two things already this morning now after Godders gave me a new word on another thread.
