Anyone know where a good place to watch the play-off final might be, pub-wise? Preferably somewhere central, I'm looking for a good atmos with both sets of fans, and as both clubs are about equal in size I imagine there must be somewhere that they are all gathering equally.

Any predictions for today's game?

After losing our two closest away trips in Reading & QPR, it's good that they'll be at least one local ish replacement.

I'm going for Watford 2-0, but think it will be close

Given our inability to beat teams below us alphabetically I will have to plump for palace to win today.

Having said that am I right in thinking that Watford will be in the right **** with most of their loans returning and a transfer embargo until September. Not much of a pre season and would be good if we could play them early.

It is going to be a close game.......I too am going for Watford....Just because I cannot stand that clown of a manager at CP. It is not only Saints fans that see it that way either. If they get into the Premier it will lower the tone somewhat!

Didn't know they had an embargo. The loans are mostly from the owner's other club Udinese, so I don't think they'll have any problems keeping them (embargo permitting of course).

Palace all the way for me. I've been wanting Cardiff, Hull and Palace for months - don't let me down now!

My lads Palac supporting mate is coming round to watch, so Palace. I also think they'll struggle the most next season.

The loan system as it stands, which Watford exploited last season, perfectly fairly of course, is being voted upon this summer. As for preference, I'd like to see a little bit more of Zola, so Watford to win, for me.

Don't like Holloway but have an irrational huge dislike for Watford. Probably has something to do with being there when we lost 7-1 despite being 4-0 up from the first leg!

Saints team included Alan Ball, Mike Channon & Kevin Keegan & a still young Steve Williams. It's painful just writing it!

If the two teams are in any way are a reflection of their respective managers then it has to be Watford for me. I believe that they will add more to the Premier League and I really don't think we need to be too altruistic as I believe that Saints will be looking up the table rather than down it.

I know Lamb. They were a bit of a bogey team for us in those days, but let's get over it and give them a damned good thrashing, next season, eh..? :)

Had a great day out at Villa Park in 2003 for the FA Cup semi-final, and found the Watford fans a smashing bunch to mix with. Quite a contrast with the miserable gooners in Cardiff a month later. So for that reason, and also because I'm a big admirer of Zola, I'm in the Watford camp.
