chant bob stokoe's name. i liked bruce, i wanted him to succeed and for a time he did alright by us, despite it becoming clearer now that he signed some bad apples in his last transfer window. however ever since he was sacked he has harped on about his newcastle roots and how every sunderland fan was so blinkered he never had a shot. this is completely untrue, he was sacked because he ****ed it up and won two games in a year. the previous mag manager we had has a statue outside the sol, so he should stop insulting the fans who paid his wages. that said, i won't boo him.

To be fair I thin he will keep them up as he knows the type of players to sign. Hes already linked with Odemwingie/Figueroa/Austin and players like this will keep them up. I doubt he will get booed but there may be a few cheeky chants (Steve Bruce, hes got a big fat headddddd). Football is theater now so no doubt there will be a few jeers. Looking back he has been our most successful manager singe Monkey's heed and he did bring is some bloody good players (Gyan/Bent/Sess/Mig/Welbeck) and I think he was very hard done by with Bent and Gyan dropping him in the absolute ****e.
Can't stand the sight of his face or the sound of his voice, he is irrelevant to safc now and i won't boo him. I hope though that our fans dont let themselves down with overly nasty chants. Can you remember when he got the sack and Alex Bruce took to twitter to lay into SAFC, I would love nothing better to see his face if we beat them! I was thinking the same as these guys, but you have just made a very valid point and jogged my memory. Silence from me, I wont boo because he done a sound job, imo. He just lost his way at the end.
Paul Mcshane is a different player these days - more mature and plays with his head as well as his heart. Thanks for all your fair and reasonable comments about SB
