Currently considering his position and will make a decision within 24 hours. I think he'll go to Everton.

Benitez would surely be the favourite to Stoke? Wife still lives up in Cheshire, wants to stay in the PL, seems to be a perfect fit.
Martinez to Everton seems odds on too.

Whoever takes over at Stoke will have the hardest job in the PL as he's got to take the bunch of players Pulis signed for playing one way and mould them into a team playing another way and can't see Bruce wanting to walk into that uncertainty when he knows that if he stays with us he is loved by Papa and the fans.

The question Roberto has to ask himself is is the cow in the field at Everton better than the cow in the field at Wigan (to paraphrase Alex Ferguson when talking about Rooney wanting to leave) and though everyone on here knows my views on Dave Whelan, I think Roberto if he waits a few more years could get the cow in the field at Arsenal, which is certainly a better cow than the Everton one.

I just cant see Martinez at Everton but I defo can at Stoke. With Pulis leaving over their 'style' they'll want someone who is seen as the complete opposite of him and Martinez couldnt be more appropriate in that criteria.

I don't

Martinez seems a nice bloke and he does try to play good football, but his record at Wigan is actually appalling.

Overall record - P 176 W 51 D 47 L 78 (win rate 28.98%)

This seasons record - P 38 W 9 D 9 L 20 (win rate 23.68% - Relegated)

I'm not sure why everyone seems so keen to get him, if I was an Everton fan, I'd be really disappointed if he was Moyes replacement(not that he will be, as it looks like they've got Porto manager Vítor Pereira instead).

Martinez is the manager that set the blueprint for how Swansea play currently. The blueprint that Rodgers mistakenly gets credited with. He's actually a decent manager, considering his resources and small squad with players that get pilfered by bigger clubs.

He still got relegated with a squad that shouldn't have got relegated.
