the thing is Rich, he is paying it off through his wages. we just gave him an advance.
 
No I understand your point but the wider implications given his status aren't great it just sends a message out to a lot of people like children that someone will always be there to bail you out. If Joe Public got into this trouble an employer or the public purse is extremely unlikely to help them as i'm sure you'll agree that's what bothers me the most had it all been done behind closed doors and not made public it wouldn't have been so bad but....

I can see your point just how different people would deal with the circumstances I suppose if he was in real danger of getting a twatting it was the most responsible thing for Ipswich to do to protect the health of an asset

exactly, do i think he has learnt his lesson? probably not and i hope we get rid sooner rather than later.

Also this isn't the first time it has happened to him, I remember somewhere he only joined Sunderland for the signing on money to stop getting kneecapped.

that said, the club was right to try and help him at that time.
