Really? I'd be pretty surprised if any of them were earning more than £50k a week.
Wasn't Ramirez our highest earner at around £35k net? So £70k?

Yeah Liverpool supposedly offering him between 50-60k a week
€70k. So just over £60k.
Lambert and Lallana were on £25k a week last season, factor in promotion bonuses and new contracts, likely to be on Premier League wages. You are looking at £50,000 per week.

I honestly find it hard to believe Lambert, Lallana or Ramirez are on £50k+.
Which I reckon is slightly higher than what the highest earner at Saints gets, but if you consider that it would only be a one or two-year contract for Toure, it's not all that expensive. Assuming it's 60k over two years, and there's no transfer fee, that's an expense of £6.24m over the duration of the contract. You can probably round that up to £7m including other fees. Not particularly expensive.
Same here.
Doesn't really make sense to me in all honesty, and I don't think Cortese is that daft either.
I still think our top earners must be in the high £30k's p/w - I'd honestly be surprised (and a little bit concerned) if any of those three, or any other member of the current squad - was earning in excess of £40k p/w. Maybe Morgan, but I could take that.

Guess the key there is are you talking gross or net earnings? I'm guessing net in which case I hope you are right. I'm happy for us to pay high transfer fees where necessary as long as the wages are not too high, one off expenditure is workable but paying out a £1M a week in wages isn't if you fall out of the league etc... (although with parachute payments...)
Still want Ogbonna, he would be a amazing signing.
ramirez will only be on about 30-40m at most, he had his wages trebled from $9k a week, apparently. Doesn't mean much but when we were in l1 a friend of mine's family member (can't remember who?) was involved in fonte buying his house down here and found out that fonte was only on about £10k a week. So, i think that our wages are relatively low but have bonuses like clean sheets, goals, etc.
