AKCJ is clearly happier with an under achieving manager than with the idea of bringing in an experienced manager who knows how to get teams promoted to the Premier League :D

****ing hell <doh>

I'm not saying either Pulis or Bruce are bad managers but I wouldn't want either at Leicester.

Geddit?

No, not in the slightest do I "get it".

Why would you not want to have a manager with a track record of getting teams out of the second tier into the first tier and keeping them there? Perhaps given the hoofball, I could understand why you would not want Pulis, but that doesn't apply with Bruce.

Are you saying you don't want Lesster to get to the Premier League, because if Pearson couldn't accomplish it this year with all the advantages he's had in what you have described as a weak Championship, just how do you expect him to do it next season??

Or are you saying you don't want Pearson or a proven manager at this level? Are you suggesting going down the "Big Name" route again like you did with Eriksson??

I'm saying I would either like to stay as we are (spending little and bringing through young players with big sell on potential) or get a manager who is proven to get teams up without spending fortunes <ok>

Steve Bruce now the 36th longest serving manager in FL, still three weeks shy of first anniversary.

By the time we get to august 3rd, Steve Bruce could be upto No.20 at least ?

I'd much rather go back down than watch that **** all season. No thanks. I go to football to be entertained.

That is why Peter Coates has sacked Pulis. He wants Stoke to start playing football at long last.

For anyone not aware of this little stat, while Tony Pulis has been at Stoke, he has a net spend £120m higher than that of Arsene Wenger.

An even better stat than that. In 11 years as Everton manager David Moyes has spent on average Just £3m per season on new players. Now that is impressive when you look at Evertons overall record in that time.

Do you think you'd be able to stop him leaving if Stoke wanted Bruce?

That wont be an issue for us at all.

I think he's more like Tickler than Mussie

You think ? WOW, congratulations.

If we played our first season back in the prem like Stoke do i would accept it but i would want Brucey to change adapt and go for it afterthat. But 6 years watching that ****e and i would be down at Scunthorpe with mussy after the second season.

Bolton under Megson and Stoke under Pulis were a ****ing disgrace to football.

Sandbach is doable to Blackburn distance wise, and Manchester as well (not forgetting Man City). Will be very interesting to see who Mr Coates approaches, as for Pulis and his thug of a captain Shawcross I would like neither to be ever given another penny by any football club as they are the very definition of anti-football.

Pulis is a dinosaur, in modern football terminology.

But he knows his onions.

Expect many Championship clubs will be after him.

You could say he is a long throwback!

I must say I am surprised and suspect it's his choice as he has a job up his sleeve. Note I haven't read much on this yet so there may be more to the 'mutual consent'.
