Yep, but we are not paying crazy wages.

He is on what the others are on largely as he has come from abroad it is a rise for him.
 
Have you seen how much we made this season from being in the PL from TV money alone? £46m.

Next season the bottom club will get more than Man Utd got this season for winning the league £63m.

Then it goes up in steps depending on which position you finish. In the last 2 seasons from TV money and the next one if we finish bottom we will have earnt £154m.

We are actually in the money and I mean tangible cash not from some Megalomaniac who holds the club in "debt" we are cash rich and out of debt completely.

Also have to admit he has a point a lot of people did want Houghton out rightly or wronly and now people do seem to have changed there minds about him.

Is this actually the case though? I remember reading somewhere (Can't remember where) but this 'debt free' line is actually a very savvy marketing ploy from the club and actually there is some residual debts that the club still owes (probably internally to Delia...) Can someone clarify?

Which also brings the next point up nicely in that what makes Marcus Evans a "Megalomaniac?" when all he is doing is funding a club similar to how your beloved Delia is funding a club.. The difference being yours once got bevved up and shouted at you from the centre circle and ours may as well be the stig as we don't know what he looks like. I'm struggling to see the grounds for us being his 'plaything' and that Delia is your 'hero' as there is a fine line as to how you can view that <ok>

There are internal debts to Delia but I don't think she will ever be in a rush to call for it back, perhaps never. External debt is sound, as in zero.

I am not sure how much she has put in to the club but I cannot imagine it being much over 10 million so not exactly a tragedy if she did call for it given the amount of money that will be coming in over the next 12 months <ok>
 
Well for starters Delia doesn't mind being seen in public or having her picture taken?

Also, she is not a tax exile like ME for tax avoidance reasons. I must admit I do not know much about ME as he is a rather secretive character but he is not named as a Director for any of his UK based companies?

This means he can let any of them go bust and suffer very little personal consequences. Yeah, he is a real stand up guy.
 
KOPR You should know by now that it's perfectly fine for them to have internal debts to their owner but not for us! That it's perfectly fine for them to talk about their history (as KIO frequently does) but not for us! That their supporters aren't fickle but ours are! <laugh> The sooner you realise this the better!

We maybe owe £10m to Delia, or less? who knows it may have even been paid off.

JWM, I'll forgive you because I don't think you understand what you just said! How can you compere us owing Delia £12M which sh doesnt want back, to you owing ME £80M ish and rising, which he most definitely WILL want back!

Bloody hell Kempy, that level of personal stalking would get you banned from your own board <laugh>

I don't think not allowing himself to be photographed means anything if I'm honest. He is a businessman... and a good one at that <ok> and the fact he keeps himself to himself isn't that big an issue when you actually break it down as I'd much rather that than a Mike Ashley or Jez Moxey character who detract from their clubs due to their public persona <ok>

As for his business dealings.. far be it from me to question whether a self made millionaire is bending the rules to make his money as I think you'll find anyone who has got to his level of success is as ruthless as they need to be.. probably even Delia at some stage in her career <ok>

"There's no friends in business" as they say... and I don't think that really means anything about how Marcus Evans run the club as he has certainly conducted his affairs privately and with dignity. which is very rare in this era of modern football <ok>

I find it strange how you seem so cock sure that you owe Delia peanuts and that she Certainly won't want it back but are so convinced that Marcus Evans will ask for all his money back at some point....

Please tell me how, where and who you get your information from as I think it's plain to see that you are jumping to conclusions and making massive assumptions off the back of personal allegiances and nothing else <ok>
