Bit of a sickener for me, if Pythagorean wins that 2nd place horse would have cost me 4 figures for a small stake...gutted! got the 4 folds/5 folds on but nowhere near as much of a return.

Great picking mate and sooooooooo unlucky!

Leicester 6.20 Pythagorean 3/1

Has the potential to make an absolute mockery of 78, he comes with risks attached and you never know what your going to get first run since being gelded, but this horse has a serious engine and it will be a shame if he does not turn out to be much, much better than 78.

Mockery, well and truly made!

Take it to the bank lads

Actually kicking myself that I didnt put every penny on as I would have in days gone by, but hes not the sort of horse you can go all in on.

He was going with Dundonnell on the gallops last season, got a mark of 78 <laugh> a rare old bet that was

Great stuff Eddie.

You are going well lately.

Always respect a bit of selective homework rather than the dart throwers.

Cheers Boris I steamed into that at 3s. Weekend losses wiped out...for now...

It was just whether they were trying today Eddie or we'd have all been on.

Why would they not be trying? Not many decent prizes you can get a shot at off 78, and it would have been near impossible to get him beat off that mark anyway.

Eddie, how can you be kicking yourself. You surely never contemplated going ALL IN on a horse that you said "comes with risks"!
No excuses next time though!
