No, I wouldn't risk starting an inexperienced player ahead of a player who can produce magic. To beat Barcelona, we'll need to play 4-4-1-1, to outnumber there 3 man midfield, and beat them on the counter attack as there defending isnt great. It will prevent there passing, and stop the ball from reaching Messi. It's very defensive and boring, but that's what we do best.
SAF disagrees - our line up is: Van Der Sar, Fabio ,Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Rooney, Hernandez. Subs: Kuszczak, Smalling, Fletcher, Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Owen. Basically the line up vs the Chavs and Schalke but with Fabio at RB. So we're going for it then!
I was being superstitious there for a moment. I predicted O'shea to start at RB, but didn't happen. Thank God! This is an opportunity for Valencia to silence the doubters.
