More like thank us. Had we lost to them we'd still be 3rd and you'd be 5th.![]()
Give up, you tried your best to throw that one away

I'm curious how you come to that conclusion when we got a club record points tally.

By the way, today was also the most points for Arsenal since the Invincibles. The most points for Chelsea in a season since the Double winning side. As I keep saying on the Spurs board (on deaf ears), the league has got weaker, the bottom teams simply aren't as good as the gap between the best and worst teams has got wider meaning points are easier to pick up (due to weaker competition) so teams will naturally have to have a higher points tally.
8 years ago the entire top 7 of this season would have had enough points to qualify for the CL, tells you all you need to know
You had a 7 point lead over Arsenal and a lead over a Chelsea side plagued with fixtures thus playing 3 times a week. You had a 13 point lead over Arsenal last year.
Overall, I think you've done very well this season considering budget and other factors, but there's no doubt you've missed big opportunities when Chelsea and Arsenal have been at their weakest. I can't see either being as weak next year but you can draw plenty of positives and will no doubt improve if you keep Bale

.
Newcastle scoring? They had to get past Kos first and they had no ****ing chance of doing that.

I enjoyed that almost as much as hearing the final whistle today

It's brilliant, whoever sent out those fake messages deserves a knighthood.

****in funny, like when United fans at Sunderland were singing Cham Pi Ions until a collective huh? last season

Funny as ****. This one was equally as hilarious![]()

Chelsea's squad has massive strength in depth in my opinion. It disturbed me watching the Copa del Rey final a few days ago - Courtois is going to be up there with the best I think when Cech passes the jersey over.
Yes Tottenham missed opportunities - e.g. the 2-1 defeat to Everton, the 1-0 to Fulham etc. - they were big dropped points. However, the club is stronger this year and I 90% reject the argument that Spurs bottled the run-in (losing to Fulham).
Arsenal won the top 4 this season - 26/30 points is title-winning form. Last season, we handed top 4 to Arsenal - this year they had to get it themselves.
can absolutely agree with that DL
You only gotta look at the GD in the league, after 7th which is +28 its all minus GD from that point on, the league has indeed got weaker and less competitive sure it's been over for 2 months pretty much before the final game was played![]()

Bale has cheated for so many pens in his time, that it's only poetic justice that he should get a clear one denied today![]()
It should have done, but 18 points from the last 10 games is a reasonable return - it's not even on the same page as last year.
Arsenal had to have a run of 26 from the last 10, which is champion-form. So, I don't consider it to be a bottle job this season.
Last season was - not this time.
You had about 1.7 points per game for the first 28 games and 2.6 for the last 10. This is a sensationally good run (hardly just stepping up a little bit) and you overtook us despite us maintaining our season's performance almost exactly. You need to give your own team the proper credit, not make incorrect assertions about others1.8 points per game over the season would leave you with 4 points less than you got in the end. Face the facts. We stepped up a little bit and it was enough to make your team wilt away.

So what you're saying in a nutshell is, that Arsenal are better than Spurs.
We've been telling you lot that for years![]()
We know! You are still a tiny bit better at grinding out results against the poorer sides. We have a better record against the better ones. I still think one extra point is not much of a return for the 50% additional turnover you have and the massive wages you pay. Only a gnat's cock between us now though.
