RHC just wants to be and i quote;

BBC Test Match Special's Jeremy Coney
"It's an event, the Lord's Test - people standing and chatting in the sun, talking about prospects for the day's play, 'we'll meet you at lunch'... It's a very pleasant place to be."

BBC Sport's Sam Sheringham at Lord's
"The slow start to proceedings in the middle has prompted many a punter to seek early refreshment and unsurprisingly the 'Champagne, Wine and Pimm's' bar is doing a roaring trade. Meanwhile, it's the calm before the storm in the Coronation Gardens with picnic baskets scattered hither and thither in anticipation of the lunchtime feastage."

test cricket is about the same as being in old trafford with a prawn sandwich... it doesn't matter whats going on out through that window!

It had and I've asked the question on the mod board. I suspect it was just this thread though <ok>

Comptons out.. no big loss (don't rate him)
Cook and Trott to pile on the runs please...
320'ish for 3 or 4 by close of play would be lovely <ok>
