Guidetti on loan would be good, Ake has made the bench for Chelsea a few times this season, so I doubt we'd have a chance of signing him. I was surprised he didn't play on Monday, but I'm not convinced that was tactical, but because with Terry out he might need to be on the bench vs Benfica tonight.
They said the reason he didnt play was because he was travelling with the 1st team tonight I guess a lot will depend on who manages them next season. But realistically we stand no chance signing him.
What about a loan of Ake then? He's very much in the Luiz mould. Can play either as a creative holding midfielder or as a centre-half. He's very much a class above Harry Kane!
I have seen the rumour that Liverpool are interested in Tiago Ilori for £4m from Sportin Lisobon. Hes only 20 and if we have been scouting RVW maybe if he is a good player it might be someone we are interested in. I have thought clubs like Sporting are prime for us to pinch players. They are in financial trouble and players salaries dont seem too high.
He was actually born in London, but do we need another young CB? Could be possible if he thought he'd be down the list at Liverpool.
