It's like some people like to have something to worry about every day of their lives!
People need to remember that that scholarship award isn't just for playing ability, its about progress academically as well and lets be fair, I think JWP wins that one hands down.

Since Shaw won the same award in the preceding month, it doesn't explain that much!

It begs the question - why are people so worried he'll leave?

I'd obviously love him to stay at Saints, and I expect him to sign the contract and stay at Saints. However, I wouldn't be altogether surprised if he were at Chelsea next season. He supports Chelsea, he's from Chelsea, Chelsea need a left-back with Ashley Cole getting older, Chelsea are currently better than Saints, Chelsea will almost certainly be better for the forseeable future, and I'm sure Chelsea would pay him more.
