People need to remember that that scholarship award isn't just for playing ability, its about progress academically as well and lets be fair, I think JWP wins that one hands down.

If this unhappy Luke Shaw talk is true, which I doubt it is. It begs the question - why are people so worried he'll leave? If he's that unhappy and doesn't want to be at the club, we should let him go and good riddance to him. We don't want players who don't want to be here, end of!

I'd obviously love him to stay at Saints, and I expect him to sign the contract and stay at Saints. However, I wouldn't be altogether surprised if he were at Chelsea next season. He supports Chelsea, he's from Chelsea, Chelsea need a left-back with Ashley Cole getting older, Chelsea are currently better than Saints, Chelsea will almost certainly be better for the forseeable future, and I'm sure Chelsea would pay him more.
