Thing is, the last two kits have been very similar, they really had to make a distinct change for next year IMO so that they would possibly sell more shirts <ok>

last seasons was v-neck this one has a collar, but yellow-wise they were similar
let's face it, it's hard to make the yellow and green combo nice

I think they have succeeded Max - I love the kit and will be online sometime later today ordering mine.

Unsure about the kit in general but cetain I will not be buying a replica keeper shirt. That is terrible - if Ruddy had any say in the design he had better play a blinder next season to make amends,

this seasons kit was pretty nice and the 2011-12 kit was an absolute beaut – instant classic, but this one misses the mark completely. might be the first one i've not bothered buying in a considerable time.

Never been a fan of the the home kit in recent years. This looks one of the worse ones though. Looks like a League 1 design. It is awful. I think Adidas shirts would be better and would be more fitting for the Premier League.

Would love to see the 82-83 Adidas original one make a comeback. This is absolutely kern it looks like a kids colouring book. Goalie kit is boring mind you hasn't got those horrid claw marks.

Does our deal with Errea run out after next season? I would love to see us have shirts made by one of the big manufacturers. I am just not keen on the design and I wont be getting one but I guess they need to change things up every now and then. As mentioned by someone else in this thread, the black kit this season was by far the nicest kit we have had in a long time....... in my opinion.

That might tie in with why we've only got the shirt for a year. I'm almost certain we've made them last 2 seasons before? Or has that given way to merchandising demands?

From what I can read by looking at old press reports when we changed from Xara it was on a one year deal, so I assume we just renew it every year, maybe why we change it every season.
Surely this also means we could switch providers if we wanted, suggesting DM is happy with the business side of the deal.

Kind of like the way the Yellow on the shirt looks like a massive "Y" = Yellow Army

No, I'm with you and like it!!!

I think this might be the last year of the Errea (don't have any problem with their shirts/designs though), but DMcN made the decision to be like other PL clubs and have a new shirt each season to generate more income!!

Yeah, I think the more I look at it the more I'm coming round to it.

Please no, we'd just end up with some generic design I think Errea have done some really interesting stuff for us and i like that they produce individual designs. This year West Brom and Sunderland played in the exact same kit aside from sponsors and colour,

I would hate it if this happened to us, I like the level of individuality.

You can throw Stoke into that lot too:

Frankly I'm surprised they can get away with that.

I think its just cheap. We get our kits designed for us with I'm sure significant input from the club. If we went to one of the big manufacturers they would barely remember who we were.
