The Derrinstown tomorrow where Battle of Marengo takes on Bolgers Loch Garman and they are 2/5 and 7/2 respectively at the moment.

Does anyone have a view on it? I'd be happier taking 7/2 each way as it stands. I like BOM but i think he needs further.

I think Van Der Neer did the RP Trophy form a nice compliment and 12/1 First Cornerstone warrants at least a mention from you in regards to an e/w snorter.

That's fair George. You might be right. It may depend on the ground. I think I'll wait till the first race before deciding whether to bet or not.

Intello feels big at 7s in the French 2000 though I see Peslier has chosen Anodin. Hmmm....

I shall be lumping on him tomorrow at 7/1 :D- This is a lot weaker field, with the likes of Kings Grey currently the 4/1 fav. Then you have the likes of WF's stable mate Doeslessthanme who has beaten a few of these in the past- but has not won off this mark before and has not shown any form this season to see why he can win. One horse I do like running tomorrow is Astracad altho likewise he has not shown any kind of winning form. Woolcombe folly is most defintately the class horse in the race and his 3rd to hunt ball at taunton just over a month ago and that was having over a year off. That day he had James Cowley on board with tomorrows rider prefering Jump City and Harry Derham was back in bout 5th or 6th on Domtaline. He does have an attitude problem and does not always seem the most interested when going along but he looked more back to his old self that day. Altho carrying top weight Ryan Mahon does take off 3lbs, he should relish the ground and his best results have come on good, good/firm ground and if back to anywhere near his 2010/2011 form he will take all the beating

    15.30 Plumpton- Planetoid - 11/2

Altho not shown it as of yet on the racecourse- he is a very talented horse (as shown on the flat)- works very well at home is very temperamental, he knows he has talent but needs to put that on the flat form in to the jumps. Has not had the best start over hurdles has but now tackles handicap company for the 1st time off a very decent mark of 85 which should miles below of what he cant actually run to! More interesting his more experienced stable mate On The Feather who below him in the betting market is the ride of Mattie Batchelor with Tom Scudamore the choice Planetoid. Altho i reckon he is going to be better over bigger fences, he should make a mockery of this handicap mark tomorrow.

I think Barry Geraghty has every Chance of riding a treble at Kempton today so I've stuck his 3 together with Mulligan's Man in the beginner's chase and Intello in the French 2000 for a Lucky 31.

Best of luck everyone. George - been practicing a Cockney Accent?

Also had a win single on Intello - the form of his Feilden Stakes win has obviously been boosted by Glory Awaits and he did it very, very easy that day.
