Tuesday night... most won't see it until Wednesday. Generally Tuesday for a Saturday KO isn't it? I'd had it prepped with the different eventualities based on the mid-week games, so I just posted it!
Would prefer to hear positive vibes about how we will win on Sunday, rather than petty moaning about the time of this thread being posted, that is somewhat more important in my mind. I feel after tonights result, there will be less pressure on our lot to perform. Providing they turn up with the right attitude they should do well enough, in my opinion we have the better team on paper, let's hope they prove it on the grass.
I feel that the Swansea result means we will beat Sunderland. Saints will play better with a little pressure taken off.
Although I probably wouldn't have posted to that effect, I did 'like' the post as I think it's a legitimate complaint. There will be no news about the game until probably Friday so what do we talk about until then? It is too early in my opinion, just leads to pages of lineup predictions. Anyway, if we must discuss the game already, I can't see Sunderland winning, they are a poor team and are severely weakened by injuries and suspensions. We have lost games like that before though...
Read earlier that Di Canio only has 13 fit outfield players, and he'll lose Danny Rose on the final day. We should win, got a funny feeling this will go the same as the Reading away fixture, as Di Canio doesn't strike me as the type of manager who likes to shut up shop.
Oh what a surprise, PTF is having a moan at someone again. I shan't bother in future if people are so picky over what is posted. But then I imagine you'd also have moaned if no one had posted anything or left it very late.
First of all...great match thread DTLW! We can win this, their 1st half against Stoke shows how rattled they can get when teams get at them from the whistle, and we are very good at that.
Right so who's moaning at who exactly? Grow up. We all have different opinions and expressing one isn't always "moaning" you know.
Can't wait for this, flying over to Newcastle for the weekend and then seeing Saints rubber stamp safety...Good times!Going to be optimistic for a change and go for a 2-1 victory
