Good luck to him, he supposedly almost went to Posh last summer but his agent screwed the pooch by trying to get a bigger signing on fee at the last minute, alledgedly the first thing he did when the season began was sack his agent!

I know. He's a great player and shouldn't be held down by a crap agent. Quick Question. How good is the AWAY end of your stadium

    In a word, ****-hole.

I have never sat there but that is what most away supporters describe it as, no roof so hope you get us away in the warmer months!

Glad to hear you are enjoying Jack, was always a quality player for us and I think he has the potential to hit Premiership football one day.

Twitter (@DMAC12) said that Payne, Gayle and Tomlin will all be staying at Posh next season. On The Peterborough Telegraph Swanny even says there's a high chance

*DISCLAIMER* 90% The deal is done. He can pull out, we're just offering money and he could backstab us.

I spoke with a Gills fan who was at POTY, who clarified to me in turn he had spoken to Jack Payne. Nothing has been signed. I believe my source.

So 90% of a deal being done is as good as 0% until any contract is signed by Jack, regardless of any rumoured tweet by the Posh chairman. I hasten to add I searched for this tweet several days ago when I first heard this story and could not find it. Although I am not disputing its existence, I refer back to my first sentence.

gfc1234 - I am sure TheTrueBoro already knows most of this if he takes the trouble to read his own board, as myself and OPP had already previously discussed this very same topic. No evidence was forthcoming previously either, so it is just old conversations getting regurgitated. However, I don't bull and I don't like to accuse others of doing so, just keeping an open mind for TheTrueBoro to produce the source, which I would still dispute on the grounds previously stated, until such time Jack puts pen to paper.

    Copied from Wikipedia
In January 2013, Payne signed on loan for Peterborough United until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move.

Wikipedia is not a good source, we all know he signed with view to a permanent deal but that don't mean that he is joining as a deal has to be agreed.

Lee and Whelps are at a club where they are wanted and respected...not let go on the cheap by their former employers

That (I know for a fact, never happened)

Our chairman released a book 'From Hobby To Obsession' and he said the reasons for Wheps and Lee to go were not because they weren't respected, Fergie didn't think they were fit enough for Championship. (Which I, like DMAC. Disagreed with) all Posh fans love the two and I can't wait till they come back to LR.

You will see them twice next season, when you travel down to Priestfield and also when we are away at London Road.
