29 players scored 7 points and were therefore top scorers. 5 failed to predict. The league is poised for someone to make a move. The next game (Chelsea) should produce some different predictions and could be vital to the league, just as it will be for Spurs. Longshanks is below Spurlock, yet has more points and I am below OnlyOneDB and seem to have one more point. Chelsea 0 Spurs 1 Dempsey
I'd rather have Dean than Webb, Clattenberg, Foy or Dowd but I still can't see us winning any Penalties this season. It is a really interesting week coming up, if Sunderland can win on Monday and Wigan win on Tuesday the goons will have a really interesting final two matches. In typical Spurs fashion I think we will beat the Chavs and then go a lose to Stoke and it will all go down to the last match again. I hate the end of the Season, wanting the mousers or ManUre to win a match goes against the grain a bit. Chavs 1 Spurs 3 Bale x 2 Holtby.
Was there a reason given for the Dowd change yesterday? He ended up doing the QPR v Arse game didn't he, so seems very strange??
Clattenburg wanted an opportunity to stitch us up, I assume. I doubt we'll get an official explanation, but it might have something to do with the traffic. That caused the game to be delayed, so it could've affected Clattenburg's travel arrangements, too.
It would be that almost everyone scored seven points for predicting a Spurs win and a Bale goal, but nobody got the correct scoreline or correct number of goals scored (who would have predicted a 1-0 after all the recent 2-2s?) Chelsea 2 Spurs 2 (Bale, Vertonghen)
Chavs 1-1 Spurs 2012/13 - PFA Young Player of the Year, the PFA Players' Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year to score for us.
Apologies for lack of comment and cock ups in positions I had considerable distractions going on at the time.
Dowd is a fair ref unlike Clattenburg, Webb or Foy (can you see any of them sending off John Terry against us?)
We're both right, but you're more right, if that makes any sense. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/6094134.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8617737.stm I'd somehow forgotten the 2nd one.
