Congrats to RVP on his Player of the Month award. Whoever secures the next POTM award will no doubt have a lot of penalties and offside goals to equal...
Not to mention title winners medals and out of this world unstoppable volleys.
Having watched MOTD, I'm beginning to wonder what Spurs and Swansea have to do to get a penalty. Is it some bizarre thing to do with teams wearing white or do the refs have a bet on?

Both were pretty blatant, Swansea's possibly even more so than the foul on Bale. Mind you, the commentators 'it was not intentional' as Cork swiped GB's legs away from him was comical..... And Clattenburg did nothing to disprove his anti-Spurs decision making yesterday.....
There can't be many people that have seen more football than Motson over the years so it's astounding that he has such a low understanding of the game. Intention had nothing to do with whether that was a foul, Bale was clever and faster than the defender so got to the ball first and nicked it in front of the defender who kicked him causing him to foul. It's no surprise Clattenburg didn't give it, he's one of the most biased refs in the league and I'd love to know what the reason was for him swapping games with Dowd.

Yeah, there wasn't even a hint of an argument about it, the ref must've had the only view in the stadium where it didn't look like a penalty. That or he just didn't fancy giving a decision against City.

Talking about refs makes me wonder......as Bale has won the players trophy,the sportswriters trophy and young players.......if the refs presented THEIR player of the year trophy would that go to Bale too?
As most referees know next to **** all about football, I can't see how it would be taken seriously.
The refs would give it to one of their mates, like Stevie G, JT or the most likely candidate, Scholesy. He wouldn't hurt a fly...
