Just read this article about former Home Secretary Alan Johnson.. I take it from his League Cup 67 Program and his Rodney Marsh poster that he’s an R, which is something I didn’t know.

    Any others people know about?

I've heard people mention Robert Smith, Mick Jones, Glenn Matlock, Bill Bailey, Pete Docherty....and (ahem) Andrew Ridgeley. Any more??

Michael Gove MP was sitting six feet away from me in the lower loft at the Stoke game.

In political terms, two famous Irish R's.

Ming Flanagan, Independent TD (MP) for Roscommon is an R.

Fiach Mac Conghail, CEO Abbey Theatre, Dublin, is a senator in the lower house of the Irish parliament. House of lords in the UK I think.

Yes, Tooting, Fiach came along. Inkedupp keeps in contact on twitter I think.

Ming Flanagan is more infamous in Ireland as he got elected as a one issue independent and is very outspoken on everything. He goes to the parliament dressed in casual clothes, refuses to wear shirts and ties and openly admits he smokes cannabis.
