VT trying to find an amicable solution. Sensible approach but how much will he have to give away to make Sam happy and be reasonable about the Langstone debt?
I'm quite depressed about this - I don't think we'll ever get shot of him, he's too crafty and devious to have any holes in his paperwork, and will just delay... delay .. delay..

Tan knows that if Hamman is anything to do with the club regarding having any sort of influence over its' affairs, very few major financial players in the game would touch us.
Let's face it, despite what he says (and I believe him) VT isn't going to be around indefinitely. He will eventually look to offload some or all of the club, and having Hamman on the scene at boardroom level would drive prospective suitors away.
Hamman has had his time regarding influence - his "reward" maybe the meaningless life presidency tag that would afford him no boardroom clout.
Frankly, if I was Tan, I'd come to a clear financial arrangement with him and say bye bye.

Sam will get a fancy title eg. Life President and a free seat at the stadium and the debt will be rebranded and turn from red to black. He will not get near our finances. He will probably be more involved in the Academy and youth teams.
