Well done lads <applause>

Good to see our players get some recognition.

That said I stopped taking PFA team of the Year seriously when we won the double yet United had twice as many players in the team. Laughable that we've only had 3 players in the last 3 years.

No Arsenal players this year, their fans will be kicking off over Cazorla but to be honest none of their players have been individually that great. Better collectively, although I think Koscielny and or Nastastic should have been in the team instead of Camel Lips.

PFA Team of the Year: De Gea; Zabaleta, Ferdinand, Vertonghen, Baines; Mata, Carrick; Hazard, Suarez, Bale; Van Persie

Disagree on Rio, cant disagree anywhere else though. Good team.

Who's been better than Rio? He's has a real good season especially the second half, it's hardly been a season for defences though.

I'm sure you lads will want to be among the first to congratulate Bale on his fantastic sweeping of the awards, at this year's ceremony. None, I'm sure, will argue that he fully deserves both prizes, having been the outstanding player, not only this season, but for several seasons. Let's all hope that this spurs (pun fully intended) him on to go for the World Player of the Year, next year, eh?

Also, you will all want to join me in rejoicing in the fact that, having won the PFA awards so convincingly, the inevitable £100 million price-tag that will now be placed on his head is likely to deter the likes of PSG and Real from even attempting to make any bids (whether we make CL or not), so that Bale is likely to remain in the EPL for a while yet. The same price-tag will also frighten the likes of £ity and United, who simply do not have that kind of money to blow.

Again, well done, Bale!

Cahill & Terry even though he's only played a handful of games. Rio's long past his best and has only been buoyed up by faster younger players, in short he's a disgrace and as for De Gay Guy picked over Cech is ****ing laughable and the team clearly put together by northern nonces.

Nastasic, Distin, Luiz, Jagielka, Williams could have all got in ahead of Ferdinand imo. Great team though, people like Cazorla unlucky to get in. Probably would've had Nastasic and Rafael instead of Ferdinand and Zabaleta though.

Oh and De Gea? Get the **** out of here, Cech has been by far the most consistent keeper this season with some amazing saves to boot.

Have you been living in some sort of spud shell for the past 6 years? City definitely do have £100m to blow, as do Madrid AND PSG. AVB said himself it would be difficult to keep Bale if you didn't get CL football.

Well done to Mata and Hazard... Fully deserved. I'm the same as a few of you above that the only one I wouldn't have in that team is Rio but aside from that it's a quality side...

Would give a La Liga team of the year a good run for their money imo!

The choices of Rubber Lips and De Gea are being questioned the most even by the sensible ManU fans. Still, Style and Dave know best <whistle>

Voting is laughable though

Michael Owen even said last night he gave his votes to Rio, Carrick and Van Persie

And who was he playing for last year, hmmmm
