That dipstick came onto the Spurs board Yid, I didn't go onto the chavs did I? I'm calling a truce anyway. If they can't see that their team like Liverpool that day were lucky well...............! I'll let him have the last word to show how big hearted I am. I've been out a lot of the day so it was only on hold anyway.

Anyway, can anyone see Chelsea losing to Basel.I can't.They'll do what we SHOULD have done.
Chances are very good that Chelsea may set an unbroken record.
As Spurs were the first team to win a European trophy,Chelsea could be the first team to win the double.Champions League and Europa League in two seasons....and they don't treat their European games as a reserve tournament as we do!!!!!!!So good luck to them........

I would prefer a home team to win in Europe even if it is Chelsea,it keeps the rest of us interested.

District,I was watching the match. The ball struck Oscar,he didn't know anything about it,it was lucky. He did not direct the ball. The second was the last kick of the match. Take a look at the penalty from all angles,he took the player not the ball. Fixed that for you too finally I hope. I still say that you'd call Pool lucky if they scored in the last second of extra time, don't deny it. You are a lucky team as others too have noticed. Pass the old man his walking stick. I've a new name for you,Dipstick Line.

I've read today that Wayne Rooney has made 51 million quid.I guess my age makes me say...WOW!
I can remember when footballers made about 15 quid a week with 2 pounds for a win and 1 pound for a draw!!!!!.....and,if a few were lucky,a benefit too which got them the same amount of money that Mrs Rooney pays for groceries in a week......

Really? Rooney seems to have a bit of restraint about him - he's not one of the players you regularly see falling out of nightclubs at 3am. I was genuinely quite impressed with the on-pitch interview he gave after the Villa game, he came across well. Gazza was a wreck even during his career.

Imagine how different Gazza's life might have been had he not rejected a move to Utd and had benefited from the guidance of SAF. He needed someone to keep him on the rails.

Why is Lukaku on loan at WBA? He looks a better bet for Chelsea than Torres and Ba put together.

Will Pardew get the bullet after that performance yesterday? Surely he can't last much longer can he?

Ashley is usually a sharp operator - witness the Carroll sale to the Mousers for a ridiculous £35mil. But, giving Pardew a 6 year contract wasn't one of his smarter moves..

I am reliably informed that he and Bacon Face are both going to lose at least £20m of that when Revenue & Customs shut down the tax avoidance scheme they're both signed up to...

I can only see Newcastle facing a struggle with him there next season. To me they've always been a team not quite good enough for the top flight for a long spell but too good for the one flight down as they often bounce straight back up again after relegation. Our match with Sunderland just might be decisive for that part of England as they play the goons.

The number held up by the 4th official is a minimum.

Given the number of total pissheads at Old Trafford at the time, he may have actually got worse.

I'm sure Bryan Robson would have helped keep him on the straight and narrow... :emoticon-0105-wink:

True, but he did sort them out. McGrath & Robson were great players. Whiteside- what a waste.
