I'd suggest he's ended our interest rather than we have. We haven't got a hope of players like him at the moment...we have no CL and can't pay top wages. Is anyone surprised? Some of you need to be a bit more realistic about this...we can't and won't attract the top European talent so we have to have a scouting network who'll get the little gems in....<doh>

This. Good on Eriksen if he chooses Dortmund. Great team/fans etc. Why would he waste his years at a mid table team for years to come. <ok>

German newspaper Der Spiegel is reporting that Lewandowski has agreed a deal to join Bayern, although Dortmund are still hoping he will stay

WTF?!?!?!?!?!

Would be seriously pissed if I was Klopp and hope Dortmund beat Bayern in the final. really really do.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Any experts know more about him. His stats look good this year!

He would cost around £12m. Good experience and has played in the Champions League. Seen him in a few games and here's my take on him:

- Versatile and energetic midfielder whose best position would be behind the front man IMO however he does often drop deep and dictate the play.

- His technique is very good and solid but always room for improvement.

- Good ability to use his body strength to retain the ball and shrug off players (This is something we don't do enough of!).

- Quite tall and is decent in the air.

- Found a lot of form in front of goal this season and just by going on his goals he has scored this season, his technique is very good and appears to be clinical and composed with his finishing.

Honestly, I would prefer Eriksen but I think we realise that we are facing a lot of competition for him and Henreikh is a decent option.

Feel sorry for Dortmund - their team will be ripped apart in the summer.

Webchat with James Pearce from the Echo:

- Alonso return is unlikely as things stand
- Carroll has no future with LFC
- Rodgers's future not in doubt
- No chance of Eriksen joining - all agent talk.
- Centre backs are the priority with 2 or 3 coming depending on Skrtel situation.
- Another attacking option in midfield and another striker
- Ince (unsure), Eriksen (agent talk)
- Heard nothing on the rumours on Mkhitaryan.
- Swansea arent keen on selling williams but would want £12m. He is the first choice.
- FSG may be reluctant to pay that.
- Alderweirald has been watched numerous times and has Rodgers is impressed - £7m
- Rodgers expected to be given £20m + player sales.
- LFC have a genuine fear thaT Suarez may demand a move away.

So we'll lose Skrtel, Carroll and Suarez, miss out on Alonso and Eriksen then sign Williams <ok>
Can't wait for the summer
