A few cup matches as well Spurm. Harry might be a good motivator and quite a good manager but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could ski stark naked down Mount Everest with bells on my balls.
I'm not going into this, as We/I will only get called "bitter". But the one thing I will say is that Keepers make mistakes/howlers every now and again. But 3 of that magnitude, in 1 game, on the last day of the season with so much at stake? No chance. It's too convenient. Ending it there.
Adebayor has often seemed like the Chris Gayle of football- too laid back, couldn't care less, drifts along, occasionally capable of being exceptionally good.... Is it an omen then for Spurs that Gayle smashed an incredible hundred in the IPL yesterday? 175 off 66 balls with 17 sixes, reaching his century in 30 balls. What odds an Adebayor hat-trick on Saturday?
There probably have been Premier League games that were fixed, but I'd expect it to have been relatively low key ones where one side's got nothing to play for. The most obviously fixed match of recent years was overseen by a Premier League official, but I doubt he had anything to do with it, despite my dislike for him. Lyon's six goals in half an hour against Dinamo Zagreb was just blatant. They'd only managed two goals in the five other group games. Ajax lost 3-0 to Madrid in the other relevant tie in the group and the Dutch side had two goals chalked off. The French side went through, Platini decided that was ok and Mark Clattenburg was none the wiser on the night, despite some obvious antics that he might have spotted. supposedly Damiao is edging closer to signing for Napoli. Finally this transfer saga might be put to bed!
Seeing how International ****ed us over with Damiao,i think we should pull the plug on the link up with them and go with another team
