The blue side of Manchester 4 - The spiralling downwards Spurs 0

god, even I'm depressed by Tottenham these days - can't find a hanging yourself smiley to indicate it though...

OODB, be interested to hear your take on the game.

Wigan 1 Spurs 3,Wigan done nothing this weekend and i expect the same against us,plus like City ,they will have the Cup final on their minds, Defoe ,Bale and Siggy

OODB, be interested to hear your take on the game.

My take on the game is quite simple

For 65 minutes I think I looked bang on about the spiralling downwards, we were bereft of impetus and ideas and should have been on the end of a spanking.

Credit AVB, his three substitutions changed the face of the game - taking off an ineffective Ade, a backwards looking Parker and a subdued Siggy for the forward passing & vision of THudd, the tenacity & grit of Holtby and the un-erring shot of Defoe. Plus his words at half-time, as indicated by Bale in the post match, to play more expansively and get down the wings rather that becoming bogged down in a midfield battle we just didn't look like winning, were spot-on.

So for 65 minutes I was as blue as a moon, but the last 25 the future was bright, the future lilywhite.

AND on the positive side, I'm off to the Wigan game on Saturday, and I've never seen them lose when I've been at the DW (that's gonna come back at bite me on the arse, isn't it!)

so Belieber it or not, think its going to be a 2-2 draw

Lennon & Defoe
