Given the level of excitement at the FA over Hazard kicking a ball from under a ballboy, would expect Saurez to be watching from the sidelines for , say 10 games ??? He's already done 7 for the same offence, so 10 is not OTT. Would not be suprised if FIFA pull his registration for a season either.
Chances are with or without this he isn't going to be at Pool next season as Bayern are heavily linked with him.
Will it stop him tho Suarez will always be a maverick great player but he's beyond discipling something tell me Bayern wont be nearly the last club that take a chance on him only for him to let them and his self down with his antics.
Hopefully he will realise he has bitten off more than he can chew..... Seriously though, I think he should get a fine of 3 weeks money and a 6-10 game ban and made to have anger counselling, so he can learn that type of conduct isnt acceptable on the pitch. In any other profession, if you lunged at your peers and bit them, you would be sacked. I think he is lucky that Liverpool arent the team they were 5 years ago or he would be **** canned. I can understand why pool fans would want to keep him however, so I cant blast them for that. Just dont see how they can defend it, which some, albeit a minority, are.
Suarez to be offered Anger Management http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22248105 And if he does it again he'll have to sit through every Adam Sandler movie.
And just to prove my point what does that filth club do? Fine him. And what does that filth player do? Brings in Hillsborough so people think he's doing the right thing. ****ing disgusting.
Be fair CPofL, at this point Suarez is damned if he does and damned if he doesnt. Anything he does now is going to be twisted into a negative light. He has bought it on himself though, that much is for sure. Like I said, big fine, big ban, issue a final warning and then we should all move on. Then if he does it again he has no one but himself to blame. As I said in another thread Liverpool shouldnt be forced to sell him, because he would just move to another club and what does that accomplish? He is still playing football.....but for someone else. Unless FIFA are going to ban him from football altogether, then why should Liverpool be forced to sell their best player, and the only reason they are not down there with Stoke and Newcastle.
Liverpool haven't banned him though and wasn't he given a 'final warning' after the handshake debacle? Oh and for all the Liverpool fans bringing Cantona in to it have they forgotton that ManU did ban him for 6 mths BEFORE the FA got involved?
Not sure it's anything to do with courage....more a lack of morals at that club. See reports now that Police involved and visited Ivanovic at home last night.
Not sure about the final warning if I am honest. I personally think Liverpool should be proactive and ban him, especially since they have nothing to play for the rest of the season. It would make them look alot better. He will get a ban from the FA too probably, but that probably wont kick in until the beginning of next season. Still though, I think anyone who thinks Liverpool should be forced to sell him is ridiculous, because he will just join another club and all Liverpool would have done is lost their best player so they can get a pat on the back from opposing fans. And the club that signs him? What of them? They will get nothing, except a World class football player, probably on the cheap, this helps nobody.
That is the only reason Liverpool are pulling away from letting him go. They know if they say that the price will drop. My money is still on him being shifted out. The owners are under intense pressure to get rid of Liverpool entirely by their home town press.
tbh im not surprised that they would be cautious over this as without him Liverpool would be struggling to make the top 10 as theres a real serious lack of quality as a whole in there squad.
It's a day later - I imagine LFC know what's going on regarding any FA action a little more than we all do... Let's see what happens. The donation is certainly orchestrated PR, but at any rate the benefactors will benefit regardless of intention; genuine or otherwise.
I'm not to bothered about Suarez, all he has done is make himself look stupid. Brana is still alive, I'm sure he didn't break the skin or draw blood. No, I'm bothered how come I find a million pictures on the internet today yet three officials didn't see it and then the same guy goes on the score a crucial goal. I bet the FA are loving this and other threads totally ignoring the ref's incompetence.
Simple, it was off the ball. Gerrard and your defender (Bertrand?) were going for a 50:50 ball, of course the ref's attention would be on that collision. It's unfortunate but understandable.
