Regardless of tonight, Utd will want to win at the Emirates. No Fergie team will roll over for Wenger. If only to take the PL record points. Presumably you have the Gooners for 3rd?
Possibly, but I can see Arsenal being really up for it too and the players will be relaxed mentally having already won it. Yeah, I just can't see them losing many if any with the form they're in whereas we have Europa, you, United and Everton to cope with. In fact that win against City yesterday could give you the confidence to cement 4th. Like I said, comes down to the game at the Bridge.
They have done well recently, but they don't look that good to me, scraping through games rather than winning easily. One reverse and it could all go wrong for them.
It doesn't matter how up for it they are IMO. They've no idea how to beat top teams at home as proven time and time again because of Wenger's reluctance to change adapt to opposition, defend deep, soak up pressure and counter. Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Swansea, City, Schalke, Bayern Munich - all of them used this tactic and that's how Arsenal have been beaten every year by United and is United's main strength. RVP will get plenty of stick and all the United players will know how much it means to him so they will be well up for it.
13 points were forecasted from the fixtures we've played so far and in actuality we have 16. A win tomorrow would take us +5
Lovely stuff. 7 points from Fulham, Liverpool and United away is the form of champions frankly (and it should have been 9 points really); shows we should be fighting for titles not C.L places.
Looking back we did better than many of us expected. Although I always thought we'd have it in us to finish above Spurs and Arsenal.
