Well.. beforehand I would have taken a point and tbh a point is fine. We are still 4th. 1 off Arsenal with a game in hand. Ahead of Spurs. It's just gutting that we couldn't hold on to what would have been a key victory! Well we did hold on but for some ****ing reason an extra 45 seconds were added.. Any reason why? The atmosphere was ok. Was expecting a lot more from the Liverpool fans tbh as it was my first time to Anfield and they were poor compared to what has been said of them. We took 3000 and made a fair bit of noise but again could have been a lot better. A bit on banter with the scousers to our right but I thought the atmosphere from them would have been better. As for the game... a draw is probably a fair result BUT if you take into account the facts that they scored 45 seconds after time was up and that the player who scored shouldn't have been on the ****ing pitch, then we were robbed. I couldn't see the bite as it was the opposite end of the ground to us away fans but what a ****ing disgraceful and disgusting thing to do. I see the **** has apologised but enough is enough. The FA have to give him the biggest fine possible and a massive ban. It's not acceptable and I hope there are no Liverpool fans defending him on this because it's a terrible thing to do. Epitomises the word scum very well. Torres was hopeless today and Ba should have started. Torres hasn't played well against the scousers since he has joined us. Hazard was superb and some of his skills... Amazing. So why the **** does that fat **** sub him off for Yossi Benayoun!?!?! It makes no ****ing sense at all! Lamps came on far too late imo but everyone else did alright. A point ain't bad but I'm gutted it was so late on. We were robbed of all 3 points no doubt about it and that Suarez ****er is a ****ing scumbag.
I thought you lot could have snatched it. Not sure why the ref added on 45 extra seconds. Not a bad point though.
It's a good point away from home and we were all saying that beforehand, if someone had offered us a point, we would have bitten your hand off (no pun regarding Suarez intended!). Keeps us in a good spot for top 4
If I was a Chelsea supporter I would be livid that Suarez scored the equaliser. Should not have been on the field. Utter disgrace.
Exactly that's the thing that really hurts. He shouldn't have been on the pitch. And I don't know how they found 6 added minutes and then to add 45 seconds on to that at the end!? Ridiculous. Absolutely gutted. Hate Liverpool with a passion.
That ref will be recieving a very poor rating over his part in this! I hope they publish what the FA Refs Association reaction to this is!
Just when you think Rafa is starting to do OK he pulls another round of ludicrous subs. The man is a total fool, and I am dismayed that anyone could think he is a good tactician, he blew it for us today......... again
Absolutely agree, he has played his last game of the season and rightly so. However you can understand how the ref missed it, was off the ball while a close tussle was going on for the ball between Gerrard and Bertrand (?) He needed to watch Gerrard to see if it was a corner or goal kick so he won't have been looking at the incident, and nor can you have expected him to. It means the ban will be longer as it will be retrospective, but that doesn't help Chelsea. The only strange bit of refereeing was the six minutes (not the extra 45 seconds cause you made a very slow substitution in injury time). Without a serious injury or incident, I can't recall seeing so much time added on.
This is what hurts most. A football match lasts 90 minutes, not 92 or 93. They officials cheated to give Liverpool more time to score. 4 minutes would have been a joke, but 6 was laughable. Be it Suarez, Sturridge, Shelvey or Carragher Liverpool should never have ended that match with 11 men. Both Sturridge and Suarez contributed to both Liverpool goals, I can take incompetence but I can't accept outright and deliberate bias in favour of one team
Exactly... What a joke... I think a chunk of it was for the penalty time wasting. Oh and let me add that the time wasting was by the Liverpool players so why the **** should the added time be put on to give them the chance to equalise when it's their fault!? Carragher constantly whining in the ref's face when on a yellow as well. Surprised he stayed on the field. Thing is we have been robbed of a fair few points this season due to **** refereeing and it could cost us.
