Well, we've always been good with goalkeepers (Flash, Sorenson, The Mig), and he shouldn't be too expensive as a backup.

We were linked with him in Keanos day. Think he's a pretty solid keeper. My worry is he always linked with one team or another but has never made a move but don't know why?

Tomasz Kuzsack (spelling?) is a free. Good keeper and would push both Gordan and Mig for the a first team spot

Do we really need a new permanent keeper? Gordon isn't out for too long and when he comes back you have the problem of juggling 3 goalkeepers. I say either a loan goalkeeper or should we just have Carson in reserve? I've never seen the lad play. Any good?

Wouldn't be suprised to see Gordon leave with Westwood brought in to play number 2 to Mignolet.

The Mig is only going to get better give him the number 1 Jersey

I think Gordon only has 1 year left on his contract as well and nothing mentioned about him getting a new one

thats correct and Brucie spoke about it a couple of weeks ago, he said he is not willing to offer him a new contract at the current time with his injury but hope he shows loyalty to the club and doesn't leave for free next summer (if he stays I would imagine)

Having lived in Belgium for a fair while I agree with your sentiments.

I think Sunderland is the first team he's been number one choice for a decent team ( St Truiden doesn't count... honestly!)

The bass player in my band is a big Cov fan he is going to be gutted about this. He really rates Westwood, it could be an extremely good signing

Exceptional goalkeeper. Sign him and let Gordon go for the big money once he's fit.
