I was born and grew up in Sheffield, good city, city of steel, always feel pride when I hear "This knife of Sheffield steel" in This is England by The Clash.
The buses are a bit crap, but they are building a tram system which could be finished in 2012, although at the moment it is overbudget and behind schedule, you can walk most places in Edinburgh anyway.
