Vaughan is a very good player who hasn''t attracted the attention that Adam received, becoming something of a media darling this season. The emergence of Colback in that CM role may have made Vaughan a less desirable target than he would have been six weeks ago. Good player though and if he's a free agent then we'd be crazy not to sign him. 28 years old and at his peak. I like Vaughan and would be pleased to see him in red and white.
Looks to me that Vaughan would be good squad development and the sort of signing that if we made two or three of that calibre might enable the squad to have the confidence of strength in depth to make a push for decent cup runs as well as progressing in the league. Some higher quality players than he are hoped for to set the fans alight.

A strikeforce of Gyan, Ba and Pavyluchenko? YES PLEASE. I'm also happy if Vaughan came here. Free, not on stupid wages, he hasn't got the big 'footballer ego' and as mentioned above would bolster our squad. I want us to get Larsson in to give us an extra dimension of set pieces. He can't half take a freekick and corner, both of which we desperately need to improve. Just imagine next season: "Vaughan...lovely cross field ball for Larsson who has space...whips it in...SAMBAAAAAAAAA...GOALLLL!!"
