I'm not one to celebrate the death of anyone and I'd like to hope things to down peacefully today. She may have destroyed this country and ruined civilisation but its not going to prison, I hope people are sensible.

Agree with all sentiments. RIP Thatcher, burn in hell Thatcherism.

Really? Do any if you know facts and figures about her reign? I suggest you all take a good, long, hard look at them before passing judgement. Like her methods or not, she was good for Britain.

She only made two mistakes and one was underestimating the mood of the country over the poll tax. Hated by many but did some worthwhile stuff like ****ing Scargill. <ok>

I think she was great....I KNOW IM SORRY PLEASE DONT HATE ME.

I always thought the Poll Tax was a good idea. When you have 2 houses next to each other and 1 has 2 adults using Council services and the other has 4 adults using the same services why should they pay the same?

I think this sums it up

You are right, but loads and loads of bludgers ( freeloaders) got the hump because for the first time in their life ,they were expected to pay their way God forbid !!!
Add to the mix the toxic sleazebag Arthur Scargill, and it was an easy task to whip things into a frenzy.
That said, the Poll Tax was handled very arrogantly and none too cleverly, and was symptomatic of Thatchers approach to Politics, **** them, I know what's good for them. She did some good things, and some bad things, but she sure rattled the cage.

didn't like her for various reasons, but you have to be one rueful little ****er to celebrate her death.
