http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-22163265 As predicted, surprised it took them this long !! well done the old bill
Well done to the BBC too - article about the hat thief, they mention 2 names, and neither are the geezer with the hat (whose name I do know btw)
His name is Tony Shannon Apparently he gave the hat back to a policeman in a van outside after the game. All he did was pick it up off the floor. A twat in my book rather than the disgraceful idiots punching ****e out of each other.
TC the 2 names they mention are for other offences, they haven't yet named Chesh about the hat incident !
What i heard was a Drunk guy fell onto the little girl and was asked to apollogise by her father,He refused and swung a punch at the father which frightened the little girl so a few lads jumped in to sort the geezer out (i would have too) someone called the O.B. and they waded in hitting anybody in sight even those trying to stop the fighting and thats when it all turned ugly how true i dont know but sounds about right
Not quite mighty, the 1st bit could be the cause but by the time most knew something was going on there were about 30 throwing fists. This went on for 10+ mins stopped briefly then started up again. Then the police waded in whacking anyone and got chased into the concourse 30secs later. No more trouble in the crowd after that as far as I'm aware. I was distracted slightly by a football match that was breaking out on the pitch.

I wish. The violence distracted from what was a truly dire game. I felt the atmosphere was a bit off at the ground as well. This was well before they started to play and give us nothing to cheer about. Stark contrast to the playoff finals.
Sounds about right regarding the coppers, they're a ****ing thick bunch who think every football fan is a hooligan, and most quite enjoy beating people up.
He was pictured and named in the sun newspaper yesterday as were several others.A cop looking at mondays tits probably found more than he was looking for. He's 27 I think it said and still lives with mummy in Lewisham.
Naw m8 if it was the Crewe lads with the coppers helmet, his head would be still in it. please log in to view this image
I felt the atmosphere wasn't quite the same as the playoff finals either. Whether that was because fans felt we had a much better chance in the playoffs I don't know. It was certainly a bit flat at the start and again towards the end, even before they got the second goal.
he gave the hat back my arse. still need to arrest more, suprise if you dont start punching horses aswell
That's along the same lines as what I heard also, my boss told me last Monday that his mate at Wembley saw 2 or 3 pissed blokes in their 50's or 60's continually staggering to/from the toilet barging past people and eventually fans got the hump with them
Now its all settled down the bottom line is, what the **** did the greedy bastards in the FA expect, late kick off, venue on Millwalls doorstep so all the thugs in the battle cruiser all day, what if it had been against WestHam would they have done the same, i think not, they should have an investigation against the FA and who sanctioned the KO time and have him responsible, not street wise those ****ers within the FA.
