After 1 or 2 spats with current online members in the past months ... I deleted my icon to this site.. I was very much pro Pulis .. Im still hoping that his tactics dont take us down ... But seriously to get where we are now .. some wheels must of fallen off !! Apparently there is big probs behind the scenes but im struggling to condone the team selection and the formation also !!! The set up of the side is all wrong and for all to see ? Its not even taking a football fan with no brains to see there is big problems !! Fingers crossed we can pinch 4 points from the remaining games or we are GONE ! I do blame Pulis tactics for this but i still believe something is seriously wrong in the background !!! no doubt all maybe will be revealed in the months !! glas to be back ! UTP
No need to apologise mate, all views are welcome both postive and negative. I like you feel that there is some serious issues behind the scenes and whether they are board created or manager created we dont know. However as you say, regardless of what may or may not be going on behind the scenes, it doesnt excuse the tatctics and results given the team that the manager has at his disposal. Lets hope we can muster up 3 or 4 points over the next 3 games.
Morning Potter P NO worries mate we're all singing from the same sheet as they say... I said this when I mentioned Mr Coates and WHY he's let it get to this point? I have a massive problem to understand it. In short like the rest on here, I don't simple as. There is another reason as you said anyone with no knowledge of the game etc can see it. Even My Missus is havin a whinge or two. Chin up chest out I say let's stay with the team and SOD the rest of em.
I honestly believe TP is making a point in the vindictive way that he only knows best to do. Something went amiss in January as we have the players to turn this around but he ain't picking them!!! Rumours have it that he is gone next season anyway even before this poor run, as Coates is stepping down and Denise is taking over and so this is why he is not fussed about us going down!
IF that's the truth Waddo AND the BOARD know or knew something was/is wrong i.e. either with Pulis or ANY player/s not playing. BECASUSE of one MAN? THEY should have SACKED HIM in Jan. Are then not the people who sanction/PAY the fee for the player's, of course they are. TBH Waddo I really believe that the way Pulis is coming across. He gives the impression that he does not give a **** WE DO Mr Coates.
Waddo, That's been at the back of my mind also. Pulis deliberately chucking games and pleading innocence for one reason or another, i don't know what has gone on or whether he is trying to take us down to where we were when he came in or just incompetant.
I've read about those rumours but who knows whether or not they are true. If Pulis therefore can't be arsed perhaps he should have been removed earlier. Whatever has gone on, the club, including the manager, should be focussing on staying in the premier league

Potter P AMEN to that 100% agree.. staying up is and always has been the way Mr Coates and Tony have come across. re the 40pts record he plays every week. I say what I said on another thread. SOD Pulis let's just get behind the team. We CAN not do Anything else. K T F guys IF it goes pear shaped so be it, I know whom I will blame and it's not US the FANS.
Tony Scholes on sky news - Apparenty us fans have been spoilt and there is a plan of action should we get relegated - http://www1.skysports.com/football/...is-confident-they-will-stay-in-Premier-League Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes admits they do have a plan in place in case they suffer relegation from the Premier League, but remains confident they will not have to implement it The Potters have been dragged into the dogfight after a poor run of form which has seen them only take six points from the last 42 available. Stoke find themselves three points above the drop zone and Scholes admits they have to cover for every eventuality in case their five-year stay in the Premier League comes to a close this season. "We are absolutely focused on staying in the Premier League and all of our plans are on that basis," Scholes told Sky Sports News. "However, I wouldn't be doing my job if we weren't aware of the financial impact and full impact of the alternative." Scholes remains firmly behind under-fire manager Tony Pulis, feeling fans may have been spoiled by the team's achievements over the last few seasons. "If we have been spoiled, we have been spoiled because of the great achievements of those players, the football management team and everyone at the club over the last five years," added Scholes. "This is the first of any kind of blip we have had in probably seven years and anyone who has been in football will tell you that's an incredibly long period of time."
A BLIP ? ******* Hell, Not one WIN in how many games and it's just a blip? With an attitude like that we're well and truly fooked. Scholes are the one and the same T**T who returned my RENEW season ticket application form. And you wonder why I will not be coming back until PULIS goes.
Diabolical, the management team are a joke, I can't really fault the players as they don't pick themselves or the tactics and have mostly done their best following the instructions of the mad capped one.
