I do think the best team won, and I'm not really here to complain or analyse, but a really good effort for the second half. Very unlucky not to get an equaliser. Onwards and upwards - we are still work in progress.

Slow start killed us off sadly. Wish we played like a team chasing the game every week.

Edit - actually, might have a little complain about the pen. I know shirt pulling is soft and all but...

Good game. I felt Chel$ea played too deep and defensive in the first half, which IMO is what cost them. You fought your way back in it but it was too late. But City deserved it but you gave them a fight.

This defeat actually doesnt feel to bad as we give it a good go in the second half and were unlucky not to get back into it Ba's goal was another stunning effort but the big difference was Toure for me he was absolutely immense in the centre of the park today and made the difference in my opinion.

Its true - Ramires realised too late that the only way to get past him would be with speed. Would have thought him and Aguero would be the ones to shackle - didnt seem like it was said.

  5. I thought it was a definite penalty, but I don't blame the ref for not giving it as he would not have seen the shirt being pulled.

Yes, you gave it a go, but I have to say that I thought £ity were worth the win, in the end. Great game for the neutral, though.

Well played City... Deserved it. However we should have had a penalty and Aguero should have been sent off but what do we expect with Chris Foy in charge?

It was a great day out. Lovely weather. Beers outside the pub. Great banter with the City fans in the pub just hurling chants at each other for 45 minutes. Great banter with them as well on the train. Our fans were very good in that second half. Although we lost I'm not as disappointed as I should be I guess. Our second half fightback was admirable and we gave it a good go in the end.

    But well done City <ok>

What the City fans noise? Yeah they were good when 1-0 and 2-0 up but shut up sharpish when we scored for the rest of the game... How did we sound?

A game of 2 halves! After 45 minutes I was feeling very depressed because they were making us look ridiculous! We just didn't turn up! The second half started and it got worse! Then a miracle happened ! We brought on Torres and gave them an examination they havent seen all season! OK ..I wont argue about their win, but it could easily have been different! COYB! <ok>

With Torres seemingly finding better form, surely we must try 4 3 3 ?? We looked in a different class with 2 up front.
City deserved the win, but with Foy doing a passable imitation of Clattenberg, "not seeing " a clear penalty, not giving Aguero a straight red for a terrible tackle, well then things are about par for a Chelsea v's Manchester game. With one huge difference.
City and their fans are hugely more likeable than their neighbours, and no sledging or "mind games" from their Manager.
Well done City, look forward to seeing you at the Bridge next season.
