The one thing we can be sure of is they will all come back fitter and in better shape than they did last year.
I also don't think Adkins will let them jump of bridges like last year. That was not only dangerous but reflected badly on club discipline.

It's one thing to jump off a bridge, it's another thing to have it filmed and stuck on the website for all to see.
Doing something like that is standard sort of thing in pre-season. Saints teams of old would go to army assualt courses and I can recall George Burley having the team jump into an icy lake somewhere. Probably no more dangerous than them getting into an ice-bath anyway.

It's been well documented that the team were pushed too hard last pre-season in Switzerland. That's part of the reason Lambert did not hit his usual form until half way through it!
Adkins will do it sensibly and professionally I have no doubt. Not sure where the tour will be but I should imagine we'll play the usual games at Eastleigh etc.

According to MLT's book, players also enjoy getting wasted and partying hard on preseason trips abroad. Its what young men do when they have more money than most young men!
Cool...as long as they don't head off in the direction the Wright and Moran allegedly did!
Pre-season this year will be so professionally managed with the manager being a trained physio. He'll understand fully the effects on the bodies.
