Could this be the downward spiral for spurs season, Gallas, Sandro, Lennon,Bale And Defoe all out im not sure they can cope, relying on Adebayor wouldn't fill me with confidence
Spurs don't play till nxt weekend, city play Chelsea on Sunday (Chelsea to hack the **** out of them) then city play on Wednesday I think so with a few players back spurs may have a chance
Also City for me. I still don't honestly feel much animosity for City - still remember the majority of my City supporting mates staying loyal to them when they were in the third tier. Can't say I care much about Chelsea, but I'd take City over them in a heartbeat.
City are my neighbours as far as I'm concerened, got no issue with them and never will have, apart from the obvious chavishness of some of their new supporters. As an example, my parents are down with us this weekend visiting and will no doubt sit there wanting both United an City to win on Sunday, one after the other. That's how it always was for them. It was a toss up who I'd support, our kid was a junior blue and I still take the piss out of him, even though he had a season ticket at United for the best part of twenty years once he'd seen the light!! I ended up United as they are my local team, by geography. I'll always remember seeing the back page of one of the newspapers with a picture of Dennis Tueart in mid air scoring an overhead kick to win the league cup against Newcastle, early 70's and I was a nipper. I supported City in that match!
I've met him. One of my clients had a corporate hospitality day at Old Trafford cricket ground for a one-dayer against the Windies. It was his company that laid it on. Seemed a decent bloke, but he wouldn't be behaving like a **** under those circumstances, would he. I did towards the end of proceedings
No, he's alright Tueart, softly spoken mackem but has stayed around and is a City man through and through. He's their version of Bobby Charlton!
Tueart was a Geordie, he just played for Sunderland. His son was in the same year as me at school. Was a bit of a spoilt **** at times, as most footballer's kids probably are, but relatively sound. Tho' he did have an annoying habit of switching support between City and Newcastle based on who was doing better at the time. Frank Stapleton's kid was in the year below me, and he was a proper ****. Tueart used to turn up at our school sports day when he was about 45 and beat all the dads who were around ten years younger
London's Biggest United Fan has got 3 threads about United on the go over on the Chav board. He really does look up to our club.
Even better, his thread about our attendances is complete bollocks, based on a made up story by a Utd fanzine with an axe to grind against the Glazers. You couldn't make it up
Err...no. "When contacted by Sportsmail earlier on Friday a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said the figures had not been released by them, as the fans’ website claims." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...aims-16-000-added-official-crowd-figures.html My god, you're right. One look at the PL table and you can see how far we've declined. Or are you going to try and use the recent dead rubber with City as 'evidence'? Just like some Chelsea fans tried to use your 2-1 win in 2011 as evidence that you'd soon overtake us It's also a somewhat amusing comment considering your sig...
And hanging your hat on something posted in the Daily Fail makes you an even bigger idiot than I thought
What, better than hanging your hat on something posted here: http://redsaway.com/2013/04/revealed-how-many-people-actually-go-to-old-trafford/ Go on then, prove me wrong.
